Because it just not needed there :)
So, currently icon is unsightly and status bar looks more cleanly without extra icons

Как тогда будем контролировать приложение? Через конфиги?
Или отдельным графическим конфигуратором?
В этом случае тогда наверное лучше делать общесистемный сервис в стиле mpd?
