Is it still the case? I cannot access your repository. But all my actions by default run in containers, so they shouldn't care about your runner system.

I still see the issue -

Apparently, it's an issue with git binary that changed the way it discovers directories: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/69470009/git-diff-cached-unknown-option-cached

@smruti-21 Can you share your workflow file? Scramble any secrets, but I need to see something in general approach.

@ChristophShyper Unfortunately I do not have the workflow file with me right now.
I remember there was no parameters set though I tried with setting up parameters like recursive, check etc.. but always I was getting same error.

Hi. I've released version v0.3, which is based on Ubuntu and has a newer version of git binary. Hopefuly that will fix your issue. But as I said before it could be caused by your checkout action.
