When you get the error, what are the contents of the inf-ruby buffer?

Have you always had this problem, or is this specific to a project, or version of Ruby, or version of Emacs, maybe?

only appears in recent two days, not in specific to a project (it happens at startup & initialize), and I have not updated Ruby, rvm, and Emacs recently.

Get from your hint, I remember that I setted one Emacs proxy in my init file a few days ago.

(setq url-proxy-services '(("no_proxy" . "localhost")
                           ("http" . "112.124.9.128:44433")
                           ;; ("https" . "")
                           ))

Does robe have a way to get around it?
(Maybe robe does need to modify anything, this situation is very rare).

Can you add a "no proxy" entry for 127.0.0.1 as well?
