That build (626) was delivered with a version of CSCore that uses DmoMp3Decoder as default decoder for MP3's. That decoder plays MP3's from NAS much slower than Mp3MediafoundationDecoder which was used in older versions of CSCore.
To resolve this issue, newer builds of Dopamine use Mp3MediafoundationDecoder again. That decoder however has more issues with "exotic" MP3's which don't fully respect the MP3 standard.
That is the reason why this issue remains open for now.
Ideally, CSCore would have a workaround to make DmoMp3Decoder open MP3's from a NAS faster.

This is fixed in Dopamine 1.5 thanks to FFmpeg.
