Otherwise you can force the image to load on click by calling the public load() function.

I had a similar issue and found that I had to add the following javascript to activate Blazy on bootstrap modal popup:

$('#modal_id_here').on('shown.bs.modal', function (e) {
  var bLazy = new Blazy();
})

where you replace modal_id_here with the id of your modal div.
