Unfortunately, I don't have a Windows machine to test this on.
The usual question - are you sure that a firewall or something else isn't interfering with SSDP?

i m on ubuntu too no problems, rebbit on seven no problems and have win 8.1 in virtualbox with firewall disabled yes and nothing found

xbmc upnp client works normally in the same time i ll search for a fix too :)

hi

i used it thru virtualbox

the network card need to be in bridged mode and not NAT so it s fixed for me :)
