Group_Send gets indefinitely stuck

I'd start by updating your dependencies. You're using a lot of end of life software.

In particular Python: we see a lot of these issue just disappearing when folks update.

We will work on updating it. In the meantime, this fixed the issue for us -

pipe = connection.pipeline()
for key in channel_redis_keys:
    pipe.zremrangebyscore(
        key, min=0, max=int(time.time()) - int(self.expiry)
    )
await pipe.execute()

Replaced with -

async with self.connection(self.consistent_hash(group)) as connection:
    for key in channel_redis_keys:
        connection.zremrangebyscore(
            key, min=0, max=int(time.time()) - int(self.expiry)
        )
