Just leaving a note that I'm aware of this, but didn't look at it yet (no experience with DMD's test coverage feature, little experience with DUB, currently working on rather large changes in D:YAML internals)

I've been trying to fix this for 0.5, but so far I have no idea what's the cause. I'll leave this open for now.

Hmm it seems that dub has found a way to workaround this as
dub test -b unittest-covworks fine.
As the compiler bug is filled, I am going to close this right now, but please feel free to reopen if this still persists.

it still fails when debugInfo are generated. It works because the build types are customized with debugInfoC (remove the C of the debugInfoC in the description, then dub test restart failing).
