This was caused by DUB enabling property enforcement by default
(which still does not work with D:YAML due to a property enforcement bug in DMD,
and afaik property enforcement is eventually going to be removed anyway due to issues it caused).
Static library building in DUB still seems to be broken, however
(latest DUB commits indicate work is being done on this).
You can build the library using the cdc script instead, as described here:
