Fix handling of full-screen programs

This will strip some control characters out of the output, but it also removes terminal colors, so it isn't a complete solution:

cat shell.201703...11396.log | perl -pe 's/\e([^\[\]]|\[.*?[a-zA-Z]|\].*?\a)//g' > blah.log

Output is viewable, but not ideal. Programs like vim still lead to weird looking output.

-o option now strips special characters from output file after running.
