Yes, that is how Chai as Promised works: it creates promises that you then need to feed into your test runner. Please read the readme more carefully.

That make no sense for me.

I mean, topic.should.eventually.be.equal(3); should be the same thing as

topic.then(
    function (result) {
        result.should.equal(3);
        done();
    },
    function (err) {
       done(err);
    }
);

right?

Because I made the test to fail but it is passing.
The result of line 41 should be a assertion error but it is the promise it self.
I don't know if am clear :(

Here, I made it in other way to show you.

If you notice this expression result in a Assertion error, but the test it is all green.

No, it should not be the same. They are very different. Again, please read the readme to understand how to use Chai as Promised.
