Actually, this has somehow fixed itself, in that the results text is now a decent size. Still, the update button remains tiny.

not really sure how I would go about to test it in virtual machine on my regular FHD screen. Maybe Qt will sort it by itself. btw, screenshots might be helpful in this situations, not that it would change much, but it would be nice to see.

Thanks, Evo. Everything does indeed seem to have sorted itself out except the size of check boxes - and that is perhaps a Mint (theme and/or DPI) problem, for it affects some other programs too. Here's a screenshot.

Update: while, most of the time, most of the UI is a decent size (but not the checkboxes, see above), occasionally the whole interface reverts to non-scaled, 100% DPI size. After a reboot, things are back as they should be. I can't find anything relevant in the computer's logs. Is this likely an operating system (or QT or what have you) fault, or is it a problem within AngrySearch itself, do you think? Thanks.

I've just suffered the reversion to tiny text once again. I imagine that after a logout the size will be back to normal. Strange.

This may be a problem with Linux Mint or with Cinnamon. For, as of now, I've seen the problem suddenly start to affect another package (namely, mono). OK, the problem was that I upgraded my OS (Mint 19 -> 19.1) without reinstalling Kvantum (the latter being a program to theme QT apps on the mainly GTK Mint).
