You could just convert to another format. For example, using anonymous types:

  public IEnumerable<object> dictionary {get; set;}

..
  dictionary = from d in realDictionary select new { Key = d.Key, Value = d.Value };

Now you can do {% for kv in item.dictionary %}Key is {{kv.Key}}, value is {{kv.Value}}; {% endfor %}

You could also make a specific object that inherits from Drop (or use one of the new features in #51 if/when that gets pulled in) rather than an anonymous object, and still transform it with Linq.

@smevans521 Any comment on the solution suggested by @gregmac? That looks like a sensible workaround to me. I'm closing this for now, but feel free to re-open if you feel this warrants a change to DotLiquid itself.
