Cost optimized video data transfer uses a Real Time Super Resolution CNN to efficient transfer high resolution videos from Edge devices to Cloud in a network constrained infrastructure. When giga bytes to tera bytes of video has to be transferred from edge devices to cloud, basic video compression itself will not suffice. Post video compression, the video can be downscaled on the edge devices, transferred over the network and upscaled using RT SR-CNN to achieve nearly 2x transfer speed up.
