i haven't checked ngrok before, what's the benefit of using it in comparison to a dedicated vm in the cloud with your own CA signed certificate?

If we use ngrok which is similar to Modlishka where both are based on reverse proxy can work behind network perimeter. But ngrok creates a secure tunnel from a public endpoint to a locally running web service. If the integration happens, Modlishka will become standard tool. I recommend you to try ngrok once and check with the possibilities if it can be integrated rather than depending on third party paid sources.

@chaitanyakrishna : Use a Let's Encrypt wildcard cert for a domain you own from a VPS instead of ngrok. Way easier, way more convincing-looking to the end-user, and you're not routing your customer's information through an additional platform you don't control (ngrok).
