Alas, this is a limitation of the mapbox library we are using (they only have numbers from 0 to 9). However, that is a good point - we could make up custom icons (possibly programmatically) to 99.

One quick 'fix' would be to tweak the color for 10-19 and 20-29...

The above image shows a similar opportunity. If we are installing custom icons for the wpt numbers we should probably make nice icons for the various mode changes (right now I always use a triangle)

@bbasso is this something the austin team is working on? I remember you mentioned they are working on unifying our map styles

for now @mrpollo I'd vote for just changing the wpt colors for numbers in groups of ten. We'd need to make this (easy) change in the backend.

I've just added the backend change to at least let the icons change color for each group of 10 wpts:

What's the long-term solution to this? The color change is nice hack, but it's pretty hard to parse on big missions:

I'm sure we will find a way to render this so it makes more sense to users, I talked with the team and we will make sure this gets implemented in the coming releases.
