Thanks for the report.
The repro can be reduced to

class Bug < Dry::Validation::Contract
  params do
    optional(:results).maybe(:hash) do
      required(:starts_at).value(:date_time)
      optional(:id).value(:integer) # If I remove this line it passes
    end
  end
end

bug = Bug.new.call(results: { starts_at: "2020-05-13T08:00:00+00:00" })

It passes if maybe is replaced with value. I think some latest changes in the maybe macro might have caused the bug.
