Would this be in place of issue #38?  If this meets the need, I think the 
option you describe here might be a little cleaner than doing a summary as 
described in issue #38.

This should be a separate task, because in some cases you will need the success 
output as well.

If you could come up with a way to meet both needs with one feature, then there 
would be less risk of clutter.

Unfortunately, both features differ too much for them to combine to a single 
one.
