the test your build fails with an error

I've tried this section: https://github.com/DusanJovic-NOAA/simple-ufs#test-your-build
and it currently fails two different errors:

test as is

am I missing something here?

run_post fails on macOS with GNU compilers

Recording the issue - I could reproduce the problem on my Mac, which should make it easier to debug.
