I'm glad to hear that your finding it useful!

You can't run it just by typing giter -ic because the .py-file is not within a directory encluded in the $PATH variable. If you try to run a command the $PATH is searched for a executable file with a matching name. So how to resolve that issue? This is how I did it:

1. Create a folder in your $HOME folder e.g. bin with mkdir ~/bin.
2. Open your .zshrc or .bashrc (depending on which shell your using) and add export PATH=$PATH:~/bin. By that you add your freshly created folder to the path variable.
3. Now navigate to ~/bin and run ln -s [PATH TO GITER.PY] [~/bin/giter]. By that you created a symbolic link to the real giter.py file. If you try to run giter -ic from the terminal now the $PATH variable is searched for an executable file matching the name and since ~/bin is included in the $PATH the symbolic link will be found which links to the giter.py file. Now the program can successfully be run.
