Inside the tomb is a .host
file where this info gets saved into. Or should if hostname
is available :D
That being said. How did you install Tomb and on what system do you use it?
from tomb.
Hi. I do have the .host
file inside the tomb volumes. And i also have /etc/hostname
set correctly.
$ cat ./.host
machine
$ cat /etc/hostname
machine
As for tomb itself, then i just ran sudo make install
on the git repo.
~ $ tomb -v

tomb is trying to execute hostname rather than reading the file in etc. this is a rather old school redundant behavior, could just change to detect file and write .host if found
from tomb.
This prompt occurred because i didn't have inetutils
installed. So this is fixed.
