Hi @agisboye, thanks for the idea!

After updating the plugin to version 4.2.3 you can change the createCalendar call like this to pass in a color:

var options = window.plugins.calendar.getCreateCalendarOptions();
options.calendarName = "My Cal Name";
options.calendarColor = "#FF0000"; // hex color (with the # char)
window.plugins.calendar.createCalendar(options,success,error);
