Hello Eddy,
please diregard this issue and sorry for wasting your time.
The reason why the link was never included was because it contained UTF-8 characters, so it couldn't be processed correctly, therefore I needed to URI encode it (maybe this is useful for others to know)

Also, the photo sometimes didn't show because I was using a relative to my app image link and not a web link.
