Sure. I'll change it to MIT. I used the same as HTTPotion just because it started as a fork.

Done here. I think this is enough, right? I can release a new version with this license if you need it.

That is absolutely fantastic. I really, really appreciate it.
If you get the chance to hex.publish sometime in the next few weeks, that
would complete the loop.
Once again, thanks, and thanks also for a nice piece of work.

You are welcome :)
Sure. I can do this today for 0.14.3 and as soon as 0.15.0 is out I can release again. Just remember that hackney is not on hex.pm and you would need to add hackney explicitly as hex does not handle git dependencies.
Unless we can convince @benoitc to publish hackney as well :)

Actually, I'm using that as a learning opportunity for the readers, showing
them how to diagnose the error when hackney isn't installed, and then how
to fix it...

anything that could help me to publish hackney on hex.pm is welcome. Can be done over the week-end.

There's an explanation here for Elixir and Erlang packages: https://hex.pm/docs/publish
Related to dependencies, should be enough to have Elixir 0.14.3 (last stable), then mix local.hex
to install Hex.
Here's a real example by @devinus: https://github.com/devinus/poolboy/blob/master/package.exs
Also it looks like soon we will have a way to use hex packages with rebar on Erlang projects. @ericmj and @josevalim were talking about this recently.
Thanks in advance, @benoitc :)
