Apparently I was missing erlang-src. I installed erlang-src and everything works fine. Sorry for the issue. :)

I'm sorry, I have just solved only updating the HTTPoison.

Just ran into this in a project that has been working fine for weeks... I'm trying to track down what may have changed.

Update: to get it to work I had to introduce a dependency on hackney and pin it to version 1.4.4.

(Previously I was picking up hackney as a transitive dependency from httpoison.)

With hackney 1.4.5 or later I get:

$ mix deps.get
...
Error evaluating rebar config script "./rebar.config.script": 41: evaluation failed with reason error:{case_clause,[116,101,115,116,105,110,103]} and stacktrace [{erl_eval,expr,3,[]}]
Any dependency defined in the script won't be available unless you add them to your Mix project

Elixir master (1.3.0-dev) and I dropped back to 1.1.1 to check, same error. Erlang 18.

Could you check which version of rebar is in your PATH? I'm afraid this is a really old rebar version coming from old packages.
