Ho provato anche con datetime ma rimane il problema, probabilmente è perchè metto l'orario di inizio e fine. Domani risolvo.

Sul server unipd se inserisco un evento nella data di oggi non viene mostrato

È data e orario, probabilmente il problema è nel controllo, guarda se ho messo = o <=
