I opened the egghead-angularjs-from-scratch-getting-started, project, and all the files are the same. For example, the index.start.html and the index.finish.html appear almost identical when I diff them.

If you are on the master branch, then there are going to be similarities. The index.start.html file is used for the start of each lesson but the master branch is the completed project, so, there will be no difference.
