I don't understand what is your issue so please try to be more descriptive.
The emulator loads the ROM you and the frontend asked it to load, it does not load any ROM "by default". I guess you are trying to load a zip file with multiple bins inside it and retroarch always pick the first one. If so, this is a frontend limitation, I hardly see why you would think this is an emulator issue :-/

Ah, ok, it makes sense, I thought it was picking the gen plus version of the rom, it just get the first it see, thanks.
