Re: gzip, I believe Go's http module would gzip content if the client sends the required Accepts headers.

Re, automatically minify things. Is there a good Go module to do that? If there is, let me know and I'll add it to the examples. This is a good use case.

I don't know of a good Go module to automatically minify but I can check.

See the example to automatically minify javascript with the proxy.

Go should support GZIP by now.
