Syntax Errors reported by pycparser but not gcc

I cannot reproduce the failure. pycparser parses this code just fine. I added it as a test in this commit: 09e22a6

My apologies for my previous messages. I checked closely the code
written by the PhD student for our novice error detector and found the
error there.
I should have guessed that something as elementary as that could not
have gotten past you.
