Hi,
I would like to propose a talk about modeling a document database.
Modeling a document database from scratch, how, why and where it might be useful for your work. The talk will demonstrate a less common approach to database modeling. It has great flexibility and enables fast development cycles in content-focussed applications.
When building content management systems and content pipelines, one has the freedom to explore and do almost anything. Why not designate some of this freedom into modeling a Postgres database as a consistent, fast and versatile document database.
Showing some advantages of going schema-less, showing why Elixir fits so well doing it, and why Ecto is just great. Postgres was always amazing, but this talk might just show it once again.
Tell me what you think, and if you are interested in a more database-focussed talk.
I can give it either this meetup (Nov 14) or next one.
