I just remembered multiple + initial input won't work well here, because as soon as you select one, the initial-value is erased for the subsequent selections.

To be clear, though, I don't think this is a necessary limitation of CRM UIs; it's just how they work now.

But why use initial-value again, instead of just directly calling the functions? Is it feasible to have a configuration option here, where default is direct, and "initial-input" has to be explicitly turned on?
