Is this happening for pages, posts or custom post types?

I have not seen this behaviour before and there's no reason why it should be happening. The layout information for a given post (page, post or custom post) is stored on that post as post meta.

What is unique about the one site on which this is happening? Do you have any other plugins installed that could affect the way in which WordPress handles posts?

This happens for pages. I installed the same plugins on a different install, and got no issue. This is why I was asking in which file may I find the file and function(s) that retrieve data into Tailor (page) editor, so I may cross-check it through sites. May you give an answer to that? Cheers

If I understand your question correctly, the models.php file is where you should look. That class is responsible for managing the layout data (i.e., models) for posts.

I must admit that I don't understand exactly what the issue is. Are you saying that it's always displaying the original post content when you load Tailor? If you can help me understand a little more about exactly what you're seeing on that one instance, I will be able to help further.

"I must admit that I don't understand exactly what the issue is. Are you saying that it's always displaying the original post content when you load Tailor? " No.

Somethings that may help clear this communication:
I'm tailoring a page, not a post.
When I edit the page, I see one kind of content (the one I expect to see).
When I edit the same page using Tailor, I see content from my oldest post.
When I, for the first time, edit a page with Tailor on this site, I see content from my oldest post, instead of some default model.

Check the video i recorded to:
http://screencast.com/t/K4elNHZr

And also note that content placeholder is default:

Does this give you any insights?

Thanks, @diogocsc. I will try and replicate this on my end.

The behaviour should be that for a page that hasn't been Tailored before a Section and Content element are created. The Content element will contain the current post content. If this is not what is happening, it will be fixed.

@diogocsc -

The behaviour I am seeing is exactly what I described above, which is the expected behaviour. Would you be able to confirm if this is what you're seeing too?

Cheers,
Andrew.
