This is fixed in the new v1.0.7. It provides a feature to specify a list of alternate search directories. This list is configurable and can be saved so that it can be remembered the next time Seer is started.

Also, Seer will try these alternate directories. If the file still can't be found, it will pop-up with a dialog so you can manually enter the path to use. (See Ctrl-O in the editor window).

I added a button to quickly add the new path to the global list of alternate directories when the Ctrl+O dialog is used.
