Your work using microRTPS on FreeRTOS and Non-OS is quite interesting. We are glad people like you share their findings with us.

About the issue of the Transport module, it a known improvement point and It is definitely something we should address on following updates.

On the plans for Arduino support, It is not on our roadmap at this moment, despite that, we are open to community contributions.
Are you already using microRTPS on Arduino?

Are you already using microRTPS on Arduino?

I am working on it for use with OpenCR which is used for TurtleBot3.
It works with existing APIs, but our goal is ROS 2.0, so we are considering an API design similar to ROS 2.0. (Of course, in the upper layers of the client API)

Apart from ROS 2.0, what I think is:
If you can apply the include method of the header file considering the path applied at the time of the build in the Arduino IDE or you can make the source files in various platforms (like rosserial), it seems to be good for maintenance.
With the current include method, if I am trying to create an Arduino library, I will have to change the folder structure or change the include method, which makes maintenance difficult. After all, for this reason I will not try to create a library.
