I made several attempts, and spent couple of hours but wasn't able to check the fix, since now HTTP proxy support seems to be broken :(

My connection looks like 0.0.0.0:12345 <==PROXY==> http.proxy.mycorp.com:8080 <==WSS==> own.home.proxy.com:443 <==TCP==> www.google.com.
This setup works perfectly (except name resolution for Socks5) for the older version of wstunnel (currently I live with a0ecc64), but doesn't work on latest commit.
Not sure if the problem is related with wstunnel itself or build environment: as far as I see, you've replaced alpine build with some reduced build env, this might have affected proxy support. I'll try to build new version in alpine environment and will update the ticket

Ha shit yes you are right, I gave you the build from the debian package/non static binary so it is obviously broken if you try it out like that.

let me come back to you, when I have done a proper static binary
