I was not aware that there was a new version of S5 available.

I don't have time to perform such an uptime right now, but I would be
happy to accept a patch/pull-requests if you are up to performing the
update.

Not sure if I know enough to modify adapt your code for this. I'm willing to give it a try if you can explain the basics to me. Are the inclusion of the CSS lines in the html the primary thing that needs to be in the html for the presentation to happen?

Yes,

The `org-export-as-s5' function does two things to the standard org html
export.

1. it customizes the org-export-html-style-extra variable to include a
   number of css style sheets which are required by s5
2. it renames a number of
   ids to the values expected by s5

The `org-export-as-s5' function should be fairly straightforward. I'm
happy to answer any questions you may run into.

Just wanted to let you know that I'm sticking to Sigma's method of org-mode with S5. Changing themes is quite easy using his method. Thanks so much!
