It's super-old, but might I encourage looking at the patch request for the native calendar app to add iCal support? I would particularly like support for webcal:// intents.

Should be solved with Etar version 1.0.9

While I see the icon to save the ics fle, clicking it shows a toast this couldn't be completed. On adb I don't see much activity, only a single matching line:
