You can see the Portal demo working in the xrchat/xrchat-client-portal-demo repo. This includes routing such that nothing breaks when entering a portal and changes page. There are currently two pages, /portals and / with a portal connecting these two pages.

The Portal component is also located in xrchat/xrchat-client#links (in the links branch) with some example pages containing portals. The issue here is that moving between portals breaks the scene, which seems to be due to the code in the /classes folder.

Issue xr3ngine/xrsocial-client#85 is related to this. What we want is to take the working version in xrchat-client-portal-demo and integrate it with xrchat-client, but without losing any functionality that exists in the /classes code whilst keeping routing working.

Additionally, issue xr3ngine/xrsocial-client#53 is related to this issue - and can be seen to have been solved in the xrchat-client-portal-demo repo.
