I think I remember liking the meta-programming of this one :). But I'm willing to change it. I must have overlooked something - but could you point me to the new README for this exercise? I'd like to see the new API so I can change the tests.

The README doesn't say anything about the API, just the general problem that is being solved.

Actually, it doesn't really explain that all too well, either, come to think of it.

I don't think the metaprogramming itself is a bad thing, necessarily, but I do remember that the Ruby exercise had a terrible API that I would never want in production, and many other languages had copied it.

Looking at the change to the xruby meetup tests & example code I can see
what you are talking about more clearly.

The old API were functions such as 'monteenth' or 'tuesteenth'. I
copied the Clojure tests which also had this sort of API.

I'll do some thinking about what would be a better API in the Lisp
world. Probably something similar to the new Ruby API but without the
explicit objects.
