TaskManager not compatible with expo-router

further debugging, i've attempted to override the "entry" property in package js, with a local main.ts file, that import the expo-router/entry, along with defining functions at this level as well.

import "expo-router/entry";
...
// call TaskManager.define here

I haven't got much success with BackgroundFetch yet, but it's only been 30 minutes so far, despite configuring the task to run every 15 minutes. From the docs, it seems like iOS truly decides how and when this happens, so i'll wait a bit longer and even task with remote notification as well.

After 4 hours of app running in the background, nothing happens. I'm back to square 0 with this. Testing remote-notifcations as well and to no avail

Okay, i think TaskManager for iOS may not be working at all for me. The below repo is does not use expo router, just has a App.js file with all the code inside of it. Tested it last night and did not work. I must be doing something wrong but I can't tell, this seems correct based on the documents?
