I believe for sites with translations enabled, we render the blog text we are pulling in from en.json and not from the translated text in the document. I'll verify and see what we can do about not uploading the same string twice.
Crowdin allows you to only have one translation for duplicates (work around)

Right. I noticed that CrowdIn will pull in exact matches really nicely, so I'm not particularly concerned about this. Something to consider, but low priority imo.

I added a note to docs to deselect/disable "English" as a translatable language. This will prevent duplicates. #171
