Sure, want to build it? :) HHVM uses CMake, and fbthrift and folly may switch over soon too. We're open to the idea, but we don't have resources to allocate to the switch right now.

I might do it :) Work is somewhat busy atm, but i'll definitely give it a look. CMake is a pretty straightforward tool to use when you know exactly how you want to do your build and even easier if you have a working automake example.

Work is slightly crazy at the moment but when some time frees up I'd consider this a good usage of my time :)

CMake does not support convenience libs so all the libs get fragmented unless we consider one of the libs as a part of the main source... anywho if anyone is interested I have /libs working with cmake (install has to be manually) https://github.com/abhiguru/proxygen/commit/cf7ad1e303db3d3660dbf457d22f9757b5b65d46
