Why do you have different code? Are you only talking about the JS UI Automation code, or about something Snapshot related?

Just curios

In fact I have two JS UI Automation scripts, one for iPhone and one for iPad, because navigation differs between devices. And to be perfectly accurate, I use 4 Snapfiles, because I need to reset the simulator between each language (the first snapshot is the first time the app is launched.) So I have a script that copies my specifics Snapfiles into ./Snapfile so that’s not a big deal. But it would be nicer just to give snapshot the good file.

So, it might be a good idea, to be able to pass a different UI Automation script for iPad apps?

Well I nearly had the problem also with the iPhone 6 Plus, so just giving the Snapfile would answer all possibilities, because in the future, I’m afraid the problem could happen for many devices...

Hi @letatas,
Sorry it took some time. I implemented this: fastlane-old/snapshot@cb87e7c

You can now pass your custom Snapfile to the command. Check out the README for further information.

You'll probably want to create 2 Snapfiles, one for the iPad, one for the phones.

Let me know if that works.

That’s great! (Sorry for the delay!)

I’ve found another use for this feature: when I need snapshots of both iOS8 and iOS7, two snapfiles is the way.

Thanks again, it works perfectly!
