email w/ a port # not working

OK resolved this after a number of issues:

1. The source downloaded with "easy_install" is not the same as on GitHub and it had a line that wasn't passing the port number to smtplib.py, which the GitHub source had corrected. This took hours to uncover (I'm new to Python). Lesson learned about where to get source from.
2. When creating email URL it takes the form smtp://username:[email protected]:port .. for example this is an approximation of what what mine looked like, my userid is an email address in this case, and since it's connecting on port 465 it uses ssl as the protocol.

ssl://[email protected]:[email protected]:465

1. I learned my ISP was blocking due to being connected to a VPN.

1. The versions on PyPI is a stable release. Usually, any code on GitHub is under development.
2. Cork is able to parse that, see the unit test test_smtp_url_parsing_email_as_username() in tests/test.py
