I'm sorry, but I'm not very familiar with ChromeOS. However, from your description, it seems to me a firewall issue.

Network is working fine in Crostini/Linux. I run "Signal" (desktop Linux version) on it fine, for example. I have checked that ping etc working too within the same box. I note someone else have reported this working with ChromeOS in the Logos forum. Crostini is just the bridge to run a flavour of Debian Linux on ChromeOS. Crouton is another one. Essentially, Debian Linux. I also have Codeweavers Crossover on this running most other apps, but it does not work with Logos, obviously. This is my new experiment, coming across from Windows on ARM device (slow running 32 bit Logos 8). In my limited time with this Chromebook, I don't think there is a real difference between ChromeOS with Crostini versus a standard Linux box --- it feels like the easiest, safest, most reliable way to get a touch-screen capable Linux laptop. Is there anyway I can submit some kind of logs etc to help troubleshoot? Surprised if I am the only one with an issue.

It looks like you will need to install SAMBA too, for ntlm_auth to work. Although this is strange, because when you installed winbind (for the ntlm_auth), it should be installed automatically by the package manager.

Alas, no... I now realise the problem --- it is the famous gnutls issue. It is installed but somehow Wine does not recognise it or still complains it is missing... Haven't found a solution to it yet.

Okay, the AppImage nodeps option works. (option 2, not the default Option 1) using version 2.27. Option 1, I cannot resolve no matter how I installed. I notice 2.28 changes things and the options again. I'll mark this issue as closed for now.
