don't worry i will take a look this days. i assume it's some limitation of the lua os library that causes bug. just want to make sure: could you confirm for me that the directory `/etc/openresty/storage` exists and writable by user that runs nginx?

Hi @constantineav, I ran a test finally and it turns out that the file storage is missing ttl capability so it's currently broken. I'm cherry-pick some ideas from #3.

This is now fixed with 0.5.3 release : ).
Also in order for renewal to work for file storage, you will need to install luafilesystem or luafilesystem-ffi.
