Core Devs 36 Meeting Agenda

Please discuss https://github.com/filecoin-project/FIPs/blob/master/FIPS/fip-0029.md. This could be very high impact for the network, unlocking practical collateral lending for many providers. It would be very helpful to know if implementers are aligned with this change in general, and whether we can have it on track for v16.

Hi @anorth! We did discuss this FIP in today's meeting. I'm about to be OOO for ~2 weeks and may be a bit slower in uploading meeting materials, so wanted to provide an update.

I think all implementers agree that this is an exciting and valuable FIP, but there is concern about making additional changes to network execution layer at the same time as the FVM is implemented. We're going to continue to refine and move the FIP through the community acceptance process, but there seems to be (loose) consensus around waiting for v17 to consider implementing this FIP.
