On the "System Backdrops (Mica/Acrylic)" tab, when I press any button to "Create Window..." it works fine
But for example, on the Windows Update tab in the settings, the little arrow to show more next to the "Pause updates for a week" the pane also shows fine

The window backdrop is different than the in app acrylic, can you check the menus in the WinUI Gallery?

Maybe the WinAppSdk package is broken or something similar.
File Explorer had the same issue but it had been fixed a while ago.
Could you reinstall the app (before that please make sure to retain your user settings from Settings > Advanced. > Export and import after that)

Well in the end restarting the Files app worked, do I really need to reinstall it then ?

Thanks for checking. I assume this is an issue with WinAppSdk where sometimes it fails to draw Acrylic.

I don't think reinstalling would have done anything regardless, anyways, happy to hear it's working now 🙂
