If by starfield you mean the red dots, afaik they perfectly match pcb videos and MAME. The same applies for the grid (blue dots).
iirc the only thing that is slightly different from MAME is the condensator calculation (for blue background generation) due to conflicting pcb videos.

Nope cocktail mode works on mame they dont match at all in cocktail mode with p2. Leave it broke if you like was just information not a post to fix it. Dont want to do your post pcb vids type arguments you seem to do. Lifes too short. I meant the whole grid including the red dots which are kinda random anyway.

If you were refering to a cocktail-only issue, the FBNeo project is actually not interested in cocktail support. Closing.

The starfields/grid also rendering too slow as side effect of this but not game stopping, If cocktail mode isint supported can leave it as is. Feel free to close.

Starfield as the whole grid plane red dots and blue. Its not game changing though, it would just would draw the the grid correct speed and would have fixed cocktail that doesnt matter since the cocktail is irrelevant. Pretty sure people wont mind too much the grid renders a little slower.

Ok, so you actually meant the grid.
We tried matching the speed from that pcb video. As far as we could tell when fixing that driver, MAME current is the one rendering it too fast. Feel free to copy/paste MAME current if you are not confortable with using pcb videos.

Your far off this time, best leaving it broke if you cant see the mistake very unapproachable on genuine issues. Pretending its pcb accurate when its different. To make up for reading the grid with sprites in the wrong place the stars are also part of the gride code. Also a completely different set for radarscp(voice set in the video). Itll stick with mame and dinks and such, people that are actually emudevs that are more than back porters, like me and yourself that arent actually emudevs.

Again, feel free to copy/paste MAME and ignore pcb videos if that's what you are the most confortable with. The fun fact is that dink was actually the one pointing out that the grid's timing in MAME didn't match pcb videos.
Anyway, i'll lock, and i'd recommend you stop with all your ranting/aggressivity from the past 5 years, i'm reaching the breaking point and this time i'll be indeed responsible for your ban (or more like you'll have brought it upon yourself, again).

Obviously, if you are linking a bartop running MAME on a non-crt screen, it will match MAME...
